I Corbezzoli is arranged over two floors and represents a refined example of the architectural style that defined the Costa Smeralda in the 1960s. The villa has a strong and distinctive identity, shaped by meticulous attention to detail, bespoke design, and a deep appreciation of local craftsmanship.

Handmade elements feature throughout the property: carved wooden doors, custom-built wardrobes and cabinetry that create continuity between spaces, and artisanal ceramics used in the kitchen, bathrooms, and even on the staircase risers. Architectural highlights include lofty white-painted ceilings with exposed dark wooden beams, richly toned polished floors, wrought-iron window grilles, articulated terracotta roofs, and striking sculptural chimney tops.

Ground floor

Running along the front of the ground floor are two elegant reception rooms, both enjoying views over the gardens and out to sea.

The main living room is spacious and light-filled, showcasing many of the villa’s signature design elements. On one side, a grouping of comfortable rattan sofas surrounds a coffee table; on the other, a few steps lead down to a more intimate sitting area with a built-in L-shaped corner sofa positioned beneath two wide rectangular picture windows framing the view. French doors open directly onto the surrounding terraces, creating a seamless indoor–outdoor flow.

An opening at one end of the living space leads into the dining room, a welcoming and sociable area centred around a large table, with direct access to the main terrace that runs along the front of the house.

Both the living room and dining room connect to a central hallway with stairs leading to the first floor. From here there is access to:

• a double bedroom (configurable as a twin) with adjacent shower room;
• a short corridor leading to a single bedroom, with a shower room opposite;
• the spacious, well-equipped kitchen, which opens out onto the side terraces.

First floor

The first floor accommodates the remaining bedrooms:

• the master suite, a romantic double featuring a four-poster bed, a decorative fireplace moulded into the corner between two walls, a dressing area, an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower attachment, and access to a shaded private terrace;
• a double bedroom with a porthole window, sea views, an en-suite shower room, and access via an external walkway to one of the two first-floor terraces;
• two double/twin bedrooms, each with an adjacent shower room. One of these rooms also benefits from direct access to a beautifully panoramic terrace.

Outdoor areas

The wraparound gardens and terraces at I Corbezzoli are a true pleasure to enjoy. Mature trees provide shade, privacy, and seclusion; vibrant bougainvillea adds bursts of colour; and manicured emerald lawns echo the hues of Sardinia’s lush coastline. Together with the villa’s warm russet walls and terracotta roofs, this vibrant palette frames soothing views over the Bay of La Celvia, renowned for its fine golden sands and crystal-clear, multi-toned blue waters.

The two reception rooms on the ground floor open onto a large panoramic terrace, whose pristine paving continues around the sides of the house. A generous beam-and-cane pergola is furnished with high-quality cushioned rattan seating, while linen curtains drift gently in the sea breeze.

A few steps to the left lead to a built-in sitting area, particularly inviting at aperitivo time, while just above lies a raised belvedere, comfortably furnished and perfect for enjoying the view.

Continuing around the side of the house, a short flight of steps leads up to a lawned area and to the master bedroom’s private terrace, which also benefits from a shaded pergola. From here, further steps ascend to a panoramic roof terrace—also accessible from one of the first-floor bedrooms—offering what are arguably the most captivating views over the gardens and out to sea.

Returning along the front of the house and beyond the main pergola, the paved terrace broadens into a wonderfully sociable space defined by low stone walls. On one side is an open-air lounge area; on the other, a shaded al fresco dining area beneath a pergola draped with linen curtains—an ideal setting for leisurely lunches and long, starlit dinners.

The terrace continues around the side of the house, providing access to the kitchen, before becoming a stepped pathway leading up to the terrace outside one of the first-floor double/twin bedrooms.

Beyond the main terrace stretches a multi-level lawn, dotted with Mediterranean trees and bordered by thick hedges. At its heart lies the striking geometric form of the irresistible infinity pool, with steps leading down to a nearby seating area—perfect for conversation, reading, or simply soaking in the spectacular surroundings.
